Welcome Emma to Onevinn

[Who is Emma?]

I am an IT professional with a love for Security. As a lost 18-year-old I decided to take a leap over the big pond to Chicago and study IT Security, this is where I met brilliant professors and my curiosity for the subject was a no-brainer. I then moved to Gothenburg in 2018 where I started my career in IT.

 I met my partner, and we now have our perfect family of four. I have fully embraced the Gothenburg lifestyle and always believe that I am the funniest person in the room - just ask my partner.

[What background do you have?]

My previous experience working with Cyber- and IT Security has been a journey where I have worked in very technical roles as well as managerial ones. I worked on the floor as an IT technician, I had project manager roles, Security Analyst, and Service Delivery Manager focused on Security.

I have realized that I want to work in a role that has both the technical and people aspect, I enjoy being challenged and keeping up to date with Security compliance and new ways of working; however, at the same time I truly value customer relations and interactions.

[What is your passion?]

My passion is to learn and evolve. I like the chase that IT Security entails, I will never catch up and know it all. I enjoy workdays where my tasks are never the same.

[What do you do in your spare time?]

In my spare time I love spending time with my family, organizing throughout our home, fully invest myself in a new hobby purchasing equipment and then let them lie in a drawer, making mood boards for all our home projects, and enjoy my partners amazing home-cooked meals.

[What will you do at Onevinn]

 At Onevinn I will be a part of the Information Security team where we guide costumers in securing their data and interests. I will bring my technical expertise, positive energy, and natural curiosity to Onevinn.
