Welcome Samuel!

Who is Samuel?

I’m a 39-year-old IT Pro, husband and father. Born and raised on the Swedish west coast. I grew up alongside the first generations of Windows and Pentium to browsing the web for the first time and setting up the first version of Active Directory. I naturally became an avid tech fan.

What background do you have?

I’ve worked in the IT industry for about 20 years mostly focusing on IT infrastructure for SMB. A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to focus solely on cybersecurity and never looked back since.

What is your passion?

At work it’s all the new and exciting products and services within Microsoft Cybersecurity. Defenders have a better toolbox than ever before to protect the modern workplace and its assets. I’m personally trying to improve my skills in KQL and apply to everything from hunting, troubleshooting to ITOps and data mining.

What do you do in your spare time?

Trying to brush up on my DIY skills around the house. There’s always something that needs to be fixed. If I get some time by myself in the evening, I’ll put my headphones on, pick up my guitar and strum some 70’s rock riffs.

Why Onevinn

My first encounter with Onevinn was through a customer perspective. I was blown away by the people, culture and company. My mind was made up, this was my destination and future workplace.

What will you do at Onevinn

I will be a part of the Secure Identities team and focus on cybersecurity from an identity perspective. Microsoft Entra with Azure AD at the front will be my home base but also hoping to support customers with Defender XDR suite and Sentinel projects.
